About Esther
I am a Senior Claims Underwriter with the London Market Casualty Claims team. I have been working in insurance since 2010 when I started at Hiscox. I worked in the Group Claims Operations team for two years. I then moved into claims handling with the London Market Claims team, and have been handling various lines of Casualty claims since then. My current role involves working with lawyers and other experts to investigate and analyse a large portfolio of claims. I also report on these matters to managers and the Underwriting team. Alongside my day-to-day work, I am a co-chair of the UK chapter of Hiscox’s Pan-African Employee Network, and I recently became a member of the Insurance Institute of London’s Claims Committee.
In my free time, I enjoy boxing, spending time outdoors and watching true-crime documentaries. Whenever I can, I like trying out new restaurants or trying new recipes at home.
