About Jenna
I am the Marine, Energy and Specialty Claims Manager at Hiscox; Specialty being Space and Alternative Risk. I joined Hiscox in April 2020, having worked in the marine claims insurance market since 2009. Prior to this I worked at two broking houses in the reinsurance claims departments for five years in total. Part of my job is to manage a team of talented claims underwriters who look after a portfolio of international, complex claims emanating from lines of business such as Hull, Cargo, Marine and Energy Liability, Upstream Energy, Energy Construction and Space. Alternative Risk is a diverse book suited to horizontal working across the department, with claims co-ordinated to the most suitable handler. My team and I enjoy working closely with our underwriters, actuarial colleagues and leadership team, to ensure that we are always offering our clients and brokers the best service in the Lloyd’s market. I chair the Joint Marine Claims Committee and sit on the LMA Marine Committee and the IUM Legal and Liability Committee.
Where time allows, I enjoy participating in conference steering groups and speaking slots, if it is a topic that I am truly passionate about.
