I am a Senior Claims Underwriter within the Marine, Energy & Specialty Claims team. I specialize in Marine & Energy Liability and Cargo Claims. I have been at Hiscox for 4 years originally coming in to cover for a colleague and ended up staying. I have worked in the Insurance Industry for 44 years, the first 20 on the broking side for three of the largest brokers in the Market. After I left Aon I decided to try my hand as a Claims Adjuster and have thoroughly enjoyed the other side of the fence. I have worked for Equitas, ACE/Chubb and Aspen prior to joining Hiscox. I adjust Claims from the Initial advise through settlement which includes attending mediations and trials. It can be very complex but very rewarding when a resolution is obtained to the satisfaction of the client. The only other organisation that I am involved in is the Lime Street Taverners Golf Society which is made up of people who have all worked in the Lloyds/London market.
My main passions are playing golf and being a season ticket holder at Arsenal. In addition I enjoy travelling and visiting our home in Spain.
