About Alex
I am the Property Binding Authorities Line Underwriter with responsibility for the Household, Commercial and BindPlus. I started at Hiscox 10 years ago on the graduate scheme and have since then worked across multiple different classes of business including Contingency, Major Property, Flood and latterly Household. My day to day job entails managing a team of underwriters and pricing analysts, insuring homeowners risks in the USA, Canada and Caribbean through delegated authority contracts as well as some open market placements. We insure anything from condominiums and manufactured housing to high value homes.
In my free time I enjoy sports, cooking and escaping the city wherever possible.
