Hiscox appoints new Head of Business Development and Broker Relationships for North America
Specialist global insurer Hiscox has announced the appointment of Glenn Dorr as Head of Business Development and Broker Relationships, North America, within its London Market business.
Glenn joins Hiscox from Lloyd’s USA, where he was responsible for managing cover holder and broker relationships for the North East Region based in Boston. With over 20 years’ experience in the US insurance market, Glenn has a strong track record of growing and developing an insurance business organically. Prior to Lloyd’s, Glenn held business development roles at HCC Specialty, BISYS Specialty Markets and Aon Consulting.
Glenn will be based in Boston, working closely with the underwriting teams on both sides of the Atlantic on surplus lines business. He will be focused on helping to drive expansion in Hiscox specialty lines such as US flood and property binders, where we see significant growth opportunities.
