About Charlotte
I joined Hiscox in January 2024, as the Chief Risk Officer for the London Market business and for Hiscox Syndicates Ltd. This involves providing risk management advice, insights and strategic challenge to the business, as well as helping the business ensure that it is meeting regulatory requirements and expectations. I have worked in the insurance sector for almost 20 years. I started my career in the public sector working for the UK regulator, the Financial Services Authority (the predecessor to the Financial Conduct Authority) where I was seconded for four years to work for the European Commission in Brussels. After that, I moved into the private sector to work for a large global reinsurer most recently working as the CRO for their European reinsurance entity. Since joining Hiscox I have become a member of the LMA’s CRO Committee.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two young daughters, travelling and exploring new places.”
