About Matthew
I am an Assistant Underwriter in the Energy team, with a primary focus in Upstream Energy. I joined Hiscox in September 2022 as an Exposure Management Analyst in the Marine, Energy & Specialty division. In this role I have gained a breadth of knowledge of the lines of business we write, including Cargo, Hull, Marine & Energy Liability, Power, Renewables, and Upstream Energy. Prior to this, I graduated from Durham University with a BSc in Geography and MSc in Risk.
Outside of work I enjoy running, rugby, cycling, cooking, and exploring new coffee spots!
