About Tim
I am the Cyber Line Underwriter for Hiscox London Market. I joined Hiscox in January 2020 as a senior underwriter and stepped up to become line underwriter in 2023. I have worked in the insurance industry since 2010, specialising in cyber and professional indemnity insurance for my whole career. Starting my career as a broker at Willis, after graduating from the University of Southampton, I spent four years broking cyber and professional indemnity risks of all shapes and sizes. In 2014, I moved into underwriting and to AIG to help grow their cyber risk portfolio in the UK. Immediately prior to joining Hiscox, I was responsible for underwriting many of AIG’s most complex and challenging cyber and technology risks as well as re-shaping the UK’s technology E&O strategy and cyber product. In my current role I lead a team of underwriters who, with the support of pricing and claims teams, underwrite some of the most challenging, complex and interesting cyber and technology risks and exposures globally.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, running and exploring new places when I can.
