This Hiscox session will follow the Future of Lloyd's by Caroline Dunn, Lloyd's Head of Market Development, where the speakers will share their headlines from 2020 before turning to the future and giving their perspectives on Latin American economic, political and security affairs for next year and beyond. The speakers:

Daniel Linsker
Daniel Linsker is a Partner at Control Risks and currently manages Control Risks Mexico City office, overseeing the delivery of solutions and services to clients in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Before moving to Mexico, Daniel led the Security and Crisis Consulting practice for Control Risks in Latin America and also headed the Americas region extractives consulting practice. Daniel specialises in developing, leading and implementing tailored and integral solutions for clients to manage complex issues across the Americas, with a special emphasis on risk management for large projects in the extractives, energy and infrastructure, and those that require in-depth regional expertise of Latin America. Before joining Control Risks, Daniel taught Latin American politics at the London School of Economics while completing his doctoral thesis on the effectiveness of international institutions, he is also a certified Governance, Risk and Compliance Professional (GRCP).

Renzo Merino 
Renzo Merino joined the Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group in 2011 and is a VP-Senior Analyst covering sovereign and supranational credits in Latin America. His portfolio includes Colombia, Panama, Uruguay and The Bahamas. He is also the lead analyst for the Inter-American Development Bank Group institutions.

Christopher Sabatini
Dr Christopher Sabatini is senior fellow for Latin America at Chatham House, and was formerly a lecturer in discipline in the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University. Chris is also on the advisory boards of Harvard University’s LASPAU, the Advisory Committee for Human Rights Watch's Americas Division and of the Inter-American Foundation. He is also an HFX Fellow at the Halifax International Security Forum.
