About Ishaan

I joined Hiscox in 2016 on the Graduate Scheme after reading Economics at the University of Cambridge. I started my career as a Pricing Analyst for all Specialty lines within London Market.  During the Graduate Scheme I also completed secondments with the ILS fund in Hiscox Re, working on underwriting & sales strategy with the Direct Asia business in Singapore and underwriting for a US Coverholder in Texas. In 2018 I moved over to underwriting in the Alternative Risk team focussing on multiline and specialty Binders/MGAs and in 2021 I moved to my current role as an underwriter in the D&O team. Underwriting publicly listed US and Australian companies including IPOs across multiple sectors including Pharmaceuticals, Tech, Energy, Biotech, Financial Institutions and Utilities.
