About Joe
Joe Packwood is an Underwriter within the Hiscox London Market Middle Market Property team.
Since joining Hiscox in 2020, Joe has developed a strong track record underwriting complex risks and building lasting broker relationships across the London Market. Before transitioning to Property, he spent more than five years in the Cyber team, specialising in large corporate cyber and technology accounts, where he supported multinational businesses in managing increasingly sophisticated risk exposures.
Joe's experience working across complex global programmes, combined with his analytical background and commercial underwriting approach, provides a unique perspective as he moves into the Middle Market Property sector. He is focused on delivering tailored solutions that help clients build resilience and navigate an evolving risk landscape. Joe holds a First Class degree in Mathematics from the University of Sussex and is based in London.
