About James
I am the Divisional Director for Casualty at Hiscox, having joined the business in August 2021 as part of the Marine and Energy Liability team. I built my career in energy casualty within the London Market and through my career have gained underwriting experience across general liability, umbrella, professional indemnity, and pollution liability products. Within the division, we combine product breadth, clear risk appetite, and the strength of Lloyd’s security to support clients with increasingly complex and evolving liability exposures.
I lead the continued development of our casualty offering, with a focus on delivering sustainable (re)insurance solutions for our clients and broker partners.
