About Harriet
I’m a Senior Underwriter in the Specialty Casualty team at Hiscox, where I underwrite a broad range of risks including Fortune 1,000 US-domiciled businesses, construction projects, trucking fleets, and railways. I also lead our SML offering, which focuses on protecting society’s most vulnerable. My role involves assessing and pricing risk, working closely with brokers and clients to tailor insurance solutions that balance coverage and cost. I began my insurance career in 2016 through a Lloyd’s of London talent scheme and previously spent nearly nine years at another Lloyd’s syndicate, gaining both technical underwriting experience and strategic insight from time in the CUO office.
