About Sophie
I joined Hiscox in September 2026 as a Graduate Underwriter after graduating from the University of Durham with a BSc in Psychology.
As my first rotation, I am working within the Flood Team in the Property division, supporting its US private flood business across residential and commercial risks. Day to day, my role involves supporting the underwriting of these risks, including assessing submissions, communicating with brokers, and contributing to the development of our US flood platform, FloodPlus.
