About Abby
I am an Underwriter in the General Liability team, Hiscox London Market. I joined Hiscox in March 2019 as an Underwriting Assistant in the Casualty division, before transitioning into an underwriting role in March 2020. I spent nearly 4 years underwriting in the Political Violence team before moving back to General Liability in the Casualty division at the start of 2024, following a secondment with the team.
Prior to my career in insurance I worked in the NHS for 5 years and was a Case Manager for catastrophic personal injury litigation cases.
