About Ayeisha
I joined Hiscox in 2014 as an actuarial analyst in the Syndicate Capital Modelling team, specialising in underwriting risk with a focus on reinsurance assumption modelling. In 2018, I transitioned to London Market Pricing, spending three years in the Crisis Management team before stepping in as Interim Head of Pricing for Casualty.
Following my return to Crisis Management as Lead Pricing Actuary, I took on the role of Head of Pricing for Marine, Energy and Specialty in 2023. In this role, I support the Divisional Director in evaluating opportunities to help the division meet its strategic and financial objectives.
My team’s work spans individual case pricing, model development, portfolio analysis and profitability reviews. A key part of my role involves close collaboration with Underwriting, Finance and Reserving to ensure alignment across functions and drive performance.
