About Ben
Ben is a Senior Claims Underwriter in the Marine, Energy and Specialty Claims team, with extensive experience handling complex upstream energy, marine and liability claims within the Lloyd’s Market. Ben began his career in 2009 on the graduate scheme at Xchanging, where he was seconded to a number of carriers and gained broad experience across multiple lines of business.
He joined Hiscox in 2014 and specialises in high-value, multi-jurisdictional losses, supporting clients through some of the most challenging and complex claims scenarios. Ben is an active member of the LMA Joint Energy Claims Group and the LMA Emerging Litigation Forum, and he also chairs the Hiscox London Market Education Committee.
