About Mascha
I am a Claims Underwriter in the Casualty team where I handle General Liability and Cyber claims. Prior to becoming a permanent member of the team, I completed my Graduate programme on the retail side as an Underwriter for Hiscox Europe. During this time, I had the opportunity to partake in secondments with the commercial claims team in Germany and the Marine, Energy and Specialty claims team here in London Market.
Before joining Hiscox in 2020, I studied law in Germany and the UK and started my career in cargo and marine liability underwriting as well as marine liability claims handling.
Outside of work, I enjoy trying out new ways to stay active and never get tired of exploring London. I also like to travel inside and outside of the UK whenever possible.
