About Violet

I am an Associate Claims Underwriter at Hiscox and my role entails handling the non-complex claims in multiple lines of business within our 4 divisions. This is my first insurance job after working in multiple retail jobs following my A-levels and then as a stay-at-home mum for 6 years. I decided to study law before entering the world of work with the hopes of becoming a lawyer, but a short stint at an insurance firm was all it took to divert my interests into the insurance industry instead.

I have been in this role for 2 years now and alongside my job, I also enjoy being the captain of our netball team and the Events Coordinator for our Pan-African Employee Network (PAEN).
