I am an Underwriter at Hiscox Portfolio Solutions, specialising in multi class delegated authority and facility solutions for MGAs and Lloyd’s coverholders. My role centres on identifying and partnering with high quality underwriting businesses, providing them with insurance risk capital so they can write on our behalf in areas where they hold proven expertise.
Clients benefit not only from capacity but also from the wider Hiscox Group’s data and analytics, pricing, claims insight and market knowledge drawn from a diversified global portfolio. Day to day, I originate new opportunities, assess deal submissions, and monitor portfolio performance to ensure HPS maintains a resilient structure that can withstand the insurance cycle, optimise capital efficiency and manage volatility.
Before joining Hiscox, I was a Casualty Treaty Broker, advising cedents, Lloyd’s syndicates, MGAs and coverholders on portfolio strategy, reinsurance design and market execution. I have worked across specialty and casualty placements, including treaty reinsurance, Lloyd’s binding authorities, lineslips and consortia.
I have over seven years’ experience in the (re)insurance industry across major brokers and carriers, with roles spanning underwriting, broking and strategy consulting in casualty, specialty (credit & political risk, transactional liability) and delegated authority.
