About Grace
I joined Hiscox, brand new to the insurance industry, in March 2025 as a Trainee Claims Associate within the LMCC team. Prior to this I worked in the Charity Sector providing education, training and employment services within the Probation Service and Job Centre Plus. My first year as a Trainee Claims Associate involved spending 3 months with each line of business within the London Market claims team. This taught me how to handle a vast variety of claims, building my skill set. Now my rotations are complete, I am back in the LMCC team handling claims from all 4 lines of business. The purpose of my role is to support the wider claims team with less complex claims, provide surge cover, whilst also receiving invaluable training across multiple insurance classes. In addition to this, I am part of the Education Committee at Hiscox, which organise a wide programme of internal and external training sessions for the London Market Claims Team throughout the year. This is a rewarding role, knowing you are supporting not only your own learning but also your colleagues learning opportunities to develop the team’s skillset.
