About Karla
I am Senior Underwriter at the Miami Office for Latin America and the Caribbean for Fine Arts. I additionally look after the Product Recall portfolio for Latin American and the Caribbean and the US direct business. I started in Hiscox back in 2016 as an Underwriter Assistant for Property and throughout the years have looked at Fine Arts, Energy, Product Recall and War, Terrorism and Political Violence. I have been working in insurance since I graduated from college in Puerto Rico working with a life & health insurance agency and at the Insurance Commissioner’s Office before moving to Miami.
Outside of work I love spending time with family, travelling, watching a good series and outdoor walks.
