About Tabitha
I’m a Senior Underwriter in the Household team within the Property Division. My job entails underwriting Binding Authority Contracts provided to Coverholders across the US, Caribbean and Canada for a variety of E&S Household Products. My role is focussed on delivering a profitable and sustainable Business Plan via portfolio optimisation and robust risk selection. I’ve worked at Hiscox since 2011 where I started out as an Underwriting Assistant in the Aviation team. I progressed within the Aviation LOB to become a Senior Underwriter and in 2017 I moved internally into the Household Binders team. Outside of Hiscox, I sit on the Insurance Institute of London (IIL) Council and act as a representative of the IIL to promote the industry and support educational initiatives within the wider London Market.
In my free time, I am a keen Scuba-diver, French-learner, amateur Golfer, Champagne-drinker and Exercise-lover.
