About Andrew
I worked in both the manufacturing (8 years) and retail (2 years) sectors after leaving school. Although entirely unplanned both jobs ended up providing me with useful insight for underwriting product recall risks. Before ending up in the insurance industry I attended the University of Essex where I gained a degree in Comparative Early Modern & Modern History.
As far as my insurance background goes I have always worked on the underwriting side. Before joining Hiscox I started at AIG in 2006 in the Crisis Management Department underwriting Product Recall and K&R. I moved to Catlin in 2013 where the sole focus was on Product Recall.
In my spare time I enjoy sports, especially swimming, football & fishing and reading.
