I joined Hiscox in September 2024 as an Underwriter within the Flood team of Hiscox London Market’s Property division. My role as Underwriter includes the monitoring and management of new and existing Coverholder partners who provide business, via binding authorities, into our market leading product FloodPlus. The role also includes the underwriting of residential and commercial risks within the US.
My insurance career began in 2006, spending much of the following years broking and placing US Property binding authorities across various product lines, including Flood. In the years following Hurricane Harvey, I managed and placed one of the largest private primary flood contracts into the London market with the skills obtained during this time supporting my current role.
To further support my professional development, I joined my local Toastmasters club and currently serve on the club’s committee as Club President.
