About Mercedes
I joined Hiscox in August 2015. I am a Terrorism underwriter at the Miami office and my job is to look after the political violence portfolio for Latin America. I have worked in the industry for 12 years and I was previously a tax lawyer in Mexico. At the Hiscox Miami team I’m involved in Women in Reinsurance. We plan 4 events per year with a motivational speaker.
During my free time I like to spend time with my daughter, friends and family. Go to my daughter’s football games and exercise. I love to read and go to the beach.
