About William
I am the Senior Underwriter on Alternative Risk. The team writes cross class delegated authority that are niche, specialist or multi-line portfolios with ability to utilise all Lloyd’s risk codes.
I joined Hiscox in 2017 initially as a pricing analyst within UK Retail, moving to London Market in 2019. Initially seconded to the Casualty division then permanently as a Senior Pricing Analyst on Household, before being promoted to Lead Pricing Analyst for Crisis Management. These roles have given me a broad insight into a broad spectrum of traditional and specialty classes written by Hiscox as well as developing the Bindplus API for Household and our data strategy. Prior to insurance I was a post-doctoral researcher at Imperial College London and hold PhD and Masters degrees, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London.
In my spare time I enjoy music, playing golf and travelling.
